Experience

I have done one on one tutoring and group tutoring for 11 years. I past the elementary school assessment for elementary teachers in Arizona. I have passed the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Exam in Arizona. truly enjoy assisting students with their academics in a personal way. I think my training in Motivational Interviewing has sharpened my listening skills to truly assess the student's specific need. My counseling skills in general make me a better tutor. I am a combat veteran that participated in Desert Storm.

I enjoy reading, traveling, and watching movies. I have traveled to different parts in Mexico. This compliments my education and work experience. I have read many classics and non-fiction books. I also enjoy playing chess because I believe it is a good way to exercise the mind. I like Chinese food, Italian food, and Southern Food in general. I think I am an easy going person to work with.
